Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel (Fully Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate external counsel and synthesize their guidance into actionable business frameworks
• Draft, review, and negotiate content partnerships and production agreements
• Build legal operations systems and ensure compliance with relevant regulations

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction in good standing
• 10+ years of legal experience in the entertainment or media industry
• Experience managing legal functions internally and coordinating external counsel
• Understanding of 501(c)(3) compliance and nonprofit organizational structures
