Licensed General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an In-House General Counsel to lead the legal function for a direct-to-consumer health technology company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company's data privacy and protection strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements, including vendor and partnership contracts
• Provide legal guidance on marketing claims and advertising compliance to ensure business continuity

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with an active license to practice law
• 4+ years of legal experience, preferably in healthtech, digital health, or DTC companies
• Experience with data privacy and consumer data regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA)
• Strong experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts
• Experience advising on marketing claims and advertising compliance in a DTC environment preferred
