Job Summary

A company is looking for a Genetic Analyst who utilizes clinical genetics expertise to support healthcare stakeholders in genetic services.

Key Responsibilities

• Review clinical genetic testing requests for medical necessity and compliance with health plan policies
• Educate healthcare providers and clients on the appropriate utilization of genetic testing
• Ensure timely completion of client deliverables while adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics
• Certified diplomate of the American Board of Genetic Counseling or American Board of Medical Genetics
• Licensed Genetic Counselor in the relevant state, if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical genetic counselor or in a comparable role
• Additional expertise in public health, public policy, statistics, business, or computer science preferred
