Job Summary
To support a dynamic learning environment, the part-time Licensed Graduate Counseling Faculty will facilitate online discussions, manage grading, and respond to student inquiries while promoting the university's mission and ethical standards.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students' questions and emails within established timeframes
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Counselor Education or a related field
- Independent licensure in counseling or a closely related field (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCPC, or equivalent)
- OR Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field AND 5 years of work experience as an Independent Licensed Counselor
- Active membership in a recognized counseling association
- Evidence of experience in counseling advocacy, research, clinical practice, or counselor education
