Licensed Graduate Counseling Faculty

Job Summary

To support a dynamic learning environment, the part-time Licensed Graduate Counseling Faculty will facilitate online discussions, manage grading, and respond to student inquiries while promoting the university's mission and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students' questions and emails within established timeframes

Required qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Counselor Education or a related field
• Independent licensure in counseling or a closely related field (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCPC, or equivalent)
• OR Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or related field AND 5 years of work experience as an Independent Licensed Counselor
• Active membership in a recognized counseling association
• Evidence of experience in counseling advocacy, research, clinical practice, or counselor education
