Licensed Head of Legal

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Legal to manage the full legal function for a global infrastructure software organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead corporate legal matters including contracts, compliance, and governance
• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements while establishing company-wide legal policies
• Manage outside counsel relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with various departments

Required Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership
• 8+ years of relevant legal experience, with a mix of law firm and in-house roles
• Experience supporting global sales organizations in enterprise-level contract negotiations
• Strong commercial contracting skills with enterprise software license experience
• Working knowledge of privacy and data protection frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA
