Licensed Healthcare Compliance Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Counsel, Legal and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal and compliance support in client contracting and vendor management
• Address HIPAA privacy and security issues and general operational matters
• Draft and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing preferred
• 3-7 years of legal experience, preferably in healthcare, health IT, or RCM
• Hands-on experience with contract drafting and negotiation
• Working knowledge of HIPAA/HITECH privacy and security rule requirements
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks and OIG guidance
