Licensed Home Health Coding Reviewer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a per diem basis, the Licensed Home Health Coding Reviewer will accurately review clinical documentation, assign ICD-10 codes, and evaluate OASIS assessment items while providing ongoing education and consultation to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Timely and accurately review patient charts for home health coding and OASIS assessments
• Educate clients on trends in coding and OASIS guidelines through direct communication
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years recent experience in Home Health coding and OASIS operations or quality
• Certification in Home Health Coding is required
• Certification in OASIS is required
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and compliance guidelines
