Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Licensed Hotline Counselor will provide psychosocial support, referrals, and resources to help-seekers contacting the National Maternal Mental Health Hotline, managing inquiries via phone, text, and chat from Tuesday to Saturday.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming inquiries and conduct assessments to provide immediate psychosocial support and evidence-based information
- Educate help-seekers on perinatal mental health resources and refer them to appropriate services
- Maintain accurate documentation of cases in the Salesforce system in real-time, ensuring adherence to established policies
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a related field (psychology, social work, counseling, etc.) is preferred
- Must be a Licensed Mental Health Clinician or a Licensed Healthcare Professional with experience in maternal and child health
- Two years of work experience in the maternal and child health population
- Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence
- Demonstrated proficiency in using software applications such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
