Licensed Import Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Specialist, Import Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HTS, duty, tariff, and special requirements to sourcing, buyers, and agents for compliance with import regulations
• Assign accurate HTS classifications and perform monthly audits of U.S. Customs Entries
• Collaborate with the Import Compliance Team and provide analytical support to Operations and other business areas

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HTS classification for retail importers or customs brokers
• Licensed U.S. Customs Broker required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Experience with transportation and compliance systems
