Job Summary
To support the evaluation of electrical infrastructure, the full-time Licensed Industrial Power Inspector will perform in-depth assessments of industrial power systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering detailed reports remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct industrial power system inspections and assessments by reviewing electrical one-lines, schematics, and as-built drawings
- Verify adherence to safety and compliance standards such as NFPA, NEC, OSHA, and IEEE through various assessments and inspections
- Deliver detailed written reports with photographic documentation, highlighting deficiencies and providing actionable recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Master Electrician or Journeyman preferred; Electrical Engineering degree with 2-3 years of experience also considered
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial electrical power systems installation, testing, inspection, or maintenance
- Military electrical background highly desirable, especially in industrial power distribution and electrical safety programs
- NFPA Certified Electrical Inspector (CEI) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of NFPA, NEC, OSHA, IEEE, and electrical safety compliance standards
