Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Editor to join an ongoing legal research initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth review of legal materials to ensure the currency of published insurance content or create new content
• Edit existing documents or draft new content, including practice notes, articles, and state law surveys
• Complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines and accept feedback for revisions

Required Qualifications

• Member in good standing of any U.S. State Bar with a JD from an accredited law school
• 3-5 years' experience in a law firm or in-house focusing on insurance coverages and regulatory compliance
• Understanding of insurance coverage and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency in using Lexis+ and navigating State Insurance Department and NAIC websites
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
