Licensed Insurance Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to manage new and renewal business while providing leadership to a production/underwriting team.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and renewal business, including mid-term changes
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and Underwriters at Lloyd's of London
• Monitor production metrics and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
• Three years of experience in underwriting, brokering, or marketing of commercial insurance
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
• Ability to analyze insurance policies and understand client needs
• Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
