Job Summary
Handling complex and high-exposure claims, the full-time Licensed Large Loss Claims Specialist will manage investigations, determine coverage, and maintain customer communication while adhering to state and federal laws.
Key responsibilities
- Perform timely claim tasks and document files to ensure fair resolution in accordance with legal standards
- Make informed coverage decisions and evaluate subrogation potential based on policy language and applicable laws
- Conduct thorough investigations of claims, analyze potential exposure, and formulate action plans based on findings
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum of five years of claims handling or insurance-related experience required
- Completion of INS, AIC, or CPCU preferred
- Experience with General Liability and/or Professional Liability is preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license and complete continuing education requirements
