Licensed Lead Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Counsel to manage complex negotiations with U.S. federal and public sector customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and close complex SaaS agreements with public sector customers
• Counsel internal teams on federal and state procurement laws and regulations
• Serve as the primary legal advisor to U.S. public sector go-to-market teams

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in law firm and/or in-house roles focused on government contracting
• Deep understanding of government procurement and compliance requirements
• In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory contracting requirements
• Ability to independently review and negotiate complex SaaS agreements
• Licensed to practice law with a JD and bar admission in the U.S
