Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Piping Stress Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides technical direction and supervision to project team members, establishing task schedules and budgets
• Reviews and approves complex calculations and designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements
• Prepares and reviews specifications, bid evaluations, and multi-discipline reports to ensure technical soundness and cost-effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering
• P.E. license
• 10 or more years of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes
• Knowledge of pipe supporting elements and commercially available piping products
