Licensed Lead Piping Stress Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Piping Stress Engineer 2 - Nuclear.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides technical direction and supervision to project team members, ensuring successful completion of project deliverables
• Reviews and approves complex calculations and designs, ensuring adherence to project requirements
• Prepares and reviews specifications and reports, participating in bid evaluations and negotiations with vendors

Required Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Aerospace, or Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• P.E. license
• 12 or more years of relevant experience
• Extensive knowledge of ASME B31.1 and ASME B&PV Section III piping codes
• Knowledge of pipe supporting elements and commercially available piping products
