Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to support its growth in regulated industries and manage legal matters across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as primary legal advisor to Founders and Senior Leadership Team on commercial, corporate, regulatory, and people matters
• Own and evolve key legal documents including Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Acceptable Use Policy
• Lead customer negotiations and manage vendor procurement cycles while ensuring compliance with legal standards

Required Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with strong commercial experience, preferably in-house at an international SaaS business
• Experience in an ISO certified environment and familiarity with SOC 2 implementation
• Proven track record in customer contracting with regulated sectors such as Government and Financial Services
• Strong grounding in privacy and data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA
• Experience supporting international operations and launching a US entity
