Licensed Legal Counsel - US/Canada

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal Counsel for Product and Commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal guidance to product management and engineering teams throughout the product development and launch process
• Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, ensuring compliance with legal obligations
• Build collaborative relationships with product development teams and management to address legal and regulatory risks

Required Qualifications

• Law degree and licensed to practice in one jurisdiction in the US or Canada
• At least 5 years of relevant technology transaction experience in an enterprise software/tech company
• US and Canadian Data Privacy certification
• Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
• Solid understanding of the software sales cycle and willingness to support sales teams across regions
