Licensed Liability Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of complex medical professional and general liability claims, the full-time Licensed Liability Claims Adjuster will effectively handle claim files from initiation to resolution while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring prompt contact on new claims within 24 hours
• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of claims, documenting all relevant facts and analyses
• Manage litigation processes and adjust claim reserves in accordance with company guidelines and client instructions

Required qualifications:

• JD and/or RN preferred; Bachelor's degree required
• At least seven years of related experience, with a minimum of five years managing medical professional liability cases
• Proficient in reading and interpreting insurance policies, legal documents, and complex coverage letters
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple variables in standardized situations
• Appropriate jurisdictional adjuster license required
