Job Summary
To support a growing legal team, the full-time Licensed Litigation Attorney will oversee outside counsel in litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy matters while collaborating with internal teams to develop recovery strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Manage outside counsel for litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and loan liquidation matters
- Direct litigation strategy and monitor legal proceedings related to commercial loans and creditor rights
- Provide legal guidance on foreclosure actions, bankruptcy proceedings, and loan restructurings
Required qualifications
- Active membership with at least one state bar association
- Minimum of four years of legal experience in commercial litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy
- Prior experience with financial institutions or commercial lenders is strongly preferred
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation and litigation management
