Licensed Litigation Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time Licensed Litigation Attorney will oversee outside counsel in litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy matters while collaborating with internal teams to develop recovery strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outside counsel for litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and loan liquidation matters
• Direct litigation strategy and monitor legal proceedings related to commercial loans and creditor rights
• Provide legal guidance on foreclosure actions, bankruptcy proceedings, and loan restructurings

Required qualifications

• Active membership with at least one state bar association
• Minimum of four years of legal experience in commercial litigation, foreclosure, and bankruptcy
• Prior experience with financial institutions or commercial lenders is strongly preferred
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation and litigation management
