Job Summary
Expanding its legal team, the remote Data Disclosure Strategy Counsel will manage litigation, compliance, and privacy matters, providing strategic advice and collaborating with cross-functional teams while ensuring customer data protection and risk mitigation.
Key responsibilities
- Drive all facets of active litigation, including discovery responses, drafting legal documents, and negotiating settlements
- Advise on customer data privacy and manage legal requests related to customer data in civil and criminal courts
- Proactively resolve disputes and provide risk mitigation advice to support business objectives
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
- 4+ years of litigation experience, preferably with in-house experience at a technology company
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with legal risk management and navigating complex regulatory compliance frameworks
- Outstanding analytical and interpersonal skills with proven advocacy abilities
