Job Summary

A company is looking for a Loan Processor III to manage the processing and pre-underwriting of mortgage loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and pre-underwrite various types of mortgage loans ensuring compliance with standards
• Monitor the loan processing cycle and communicate issues that may delay closing
• Review documentation for completeness and compliance, preparing files for underwriting approval

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in Business, Finance/Accounting, or related fields preferred
• Five or more years of experience as a Loan Processor, with specific experience in conventional and FHA loans
• Expert knowledge of mortgage lending processes and federal/state regulations
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Experience with complex documentation related to consumer mortgage applications
