Licensed Mechanical Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Data Center Mechanical Systems Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead for hyperscale data center mechanical infrastructure and collaborate with various teams to develop new systems
• Prepare project elements including scope of work, cost estimates, schedules, and quality control measures
• Conduct detailed thermal analysis of proposed technologies and innovate custom cooling components

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience; a Master's degree or Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred
• Experience with design, commissioning, and construction of large-scale cooling/heating/power generation systems
• Proficiency in thermal analysis and data center cooling systems, along with water and energy calculations
• Innovative mindset to develop methods that exceed existing solutions
• Proficiency with tools such as 6Sigma, AFT Fathom, Python, and Google Sheets
