Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II Professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage charge review and coding-related claim edit work queues for timely and accurate charge capture
• Review medical records and assign appropriate CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes while ensuring compliance with guidelines
• Train and mentor coding staff on coding policies and procedures, providing feedback and education as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of professional coding experience
• Certification in coding (e.g., CCA, CCS-P, COC, CPC, RHIA, RHIT, CPC-A, CCS)
• Ability to lift/carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs frequently
• Must reside in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, or Wisconsin
