Licensed Medical Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director responsible for overseeing medical appeal decisions and providing clinical guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide final clinical overview and authorization of medical appeal decisions
• Direct oversight of the physician panel and consult on credentialing and specialty recruiting
• Ensure compliance with URAC/ISO training requirements and support program guidance

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Current, active, and unrestricted professional license in the U.S. in a recognized discipline
• Medical Degree as DO or MD
• Board Certification in an identified specialty
• 5+ years of post-licensure clinical experience in direct patient care
• Maintain licensure in good standing with no active sanctions or disciplinary restrictions
