Job Summary

Providing executive physician leadership for medical review operations, the full-time Licensed Medical Director will oversee physician reviewers, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure regulatory compliance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for medical review operations, ensuring accurate and evidence-based clinical decisions
• Lead and mentor a team of physician reviewers to drive performance and high-quality outcomes
• Develop quality assurance processes that promote continuous improvement across medical review activities

Required qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical School
• Active, unrestricted medical license in good standing
• Current Board Certification in a recognized specialty
• Minimum 10 years of clinical practice experience with at least 5 years in physician leadership or medical management
• Recent hands-on patient care experience within the past three years
