Licensed Medical Information Nurse

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Information Specialist (Nurse).

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for medical and safety information from consumers and healthcare professionals
• Document and report adverse events, pregnancy reports, and product complaints in compliance with regulations
• Maintain quality assurance by performing checks on logged inquiries and ensuring adherence to privacy policies

Required Qualifications

• Nursing degree (RN/BS/BA/MS) in Canada or the US
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology
• Ability to multitask and prioritize within restrictive timeframes
• Highly proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and document management systems
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying problems and suggesting solutions
