Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interpreter to provide language interpretation services between patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform bilingual interpretation of patient care needs to ensure understanding among patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation of interpretation activities and participate in educational programs to enhance skills
• Collaborate with translators and refer psychosocial issues to appropriate departments for effective patient care

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in English and at least one foreign language
• Experience in interpretation services, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of national standards of practice and ethics in interpretation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
