Licensed Mental Health Coach
Job Summary
Providing virtual, solution-focused mental health coaching, the independent contractor Affiliate Mental Health Coach will conduct 30-minute sessions aimed at helping participants build resilience and achieve personal and professional goals while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individualized, short-term mental health coaching sessions to participants
- Facilitate referrals to counseling or therapy when coaching is no longer clinically appropriate
- Document coaching sessions accurately and maintain participant confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree in a Mental Health Discipline (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
- Current certification through a recognized coaching organization (e.g., ICF, NBHWC)
- Experience providing mental health coaching via virtual platforms
- Familiarity with technology for remote work and training
- Experience supporting workplace mental health and well-being
