Job Summary
Acting as a primary source of emotional support for students and faculty, the part-time Licensed Mental Health Provider will provide remote counseling services during scheduled shifts on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., focusing on crisis intervention and risk assessment.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct 20-minute counseling sessions with clients, followed by documentation
- Assess and document sessions for members potentially in crisis, ensuring professional conduct and support
- Utilize evidence-based modalities to build rapport and collaborate on student care
Required qualifications:
- Completion of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy with Provisional or Associate License
- Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults or at-risk populations
- Strong clinical writing and assessment skills
