Job Summary
To support the higher education student population, a part-time Licensed Mental Health Provider will provide on-demand emotional support through remote sessions, focusing on crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning.
Key responsibilities
- Provide 20-minute remote counseling sessions, followed by documentation, while maintaining a healthy work/life balance
- Utilize evidence-based modalities to build rapport and support student care, especially for those in crisis
- Maintain professional conduct and adapt to the changing needs of students and faculty members seeking support
Required qualifications
- Completion of a Master's Degree in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy with Provisional or Associate License is required
- Fully licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation
- Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults or at-risk populations
- Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
