A company is looking for a Midwife based in Japan.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care and support to women and families during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum via video consults and messaging
• Document encounter summaries in the practice management system and collaborate with the Care Delivery team for member needs
• Promote culturally humble care and advocate for improved outcomes for women and families

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Midwife in Japan with good standing under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare
• Recognized midwifery qualification and national certification in Japan, typically following Registered Nurse licensure
• Board-certified or registered through the Japan Society of Midwifery or an equivalent organization (preferred)
• Fluent in Japanese and English (written and verbal)
• Comfortable delivering care through a digital health platform, with prior telehealth experience preferred
