Licensed Military Program Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military Program Counselor (Tele-work).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide private, confidential, non-medical counseling to eligible participants using a short-term, solution-focused model
• Address various topics including relationship issues, military transitions, personal stress, life goals, and financial stress
• Ensure services comply with Military Program eligibility requirements and do not include clinical mental health treatment

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; Spanish fluency may be required in certain areas
• Master's degree from an accredited program in a mental health-related field
• Current, valid, unrestricted counseling license/certification allowing independent practice
• Demonstrated counseling competence prior to contract agreement
• Must pass criminal history, fingerprint, and credential verification, meeting DODI 1402.05 requirements
