Licensed Military Program Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military Program Counselor (Tele-work).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide private, confidential, non-medical counseling using a short-term, solution-focused model for eligible participants
• Support Service members and their families with issues related to relationships, military transitions, personal stress, life goals, and financial stress
• Ensure compliance with Military Program eligibility requirements and maintain confidentiality in all counseling sessions

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English; Spanish fluency may be required in certain areas
• Master's degree from an accredited graduate program in a mental health-related field
• Current, valid, unrestricted counseling license/certification to provide independent counseling services
• Demonstrated counseling competence prior to performing under the Military contract
• Must pass criminal history, fingerprint, and credential review/verification, meeting DODI 1402.05 requirements
