Job Summary
A company is looking for a Military Program Counselor (Tele-work).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide private, confidential, non-medical counseling to eligible service members and their families
- Address topics such as relationship issues, military transitions, personal stress, life goals, and financial stress
- Utilize a short-term, solution-focused counseling model
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; Spanish fluency may be required in certain areas
- Master's degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited program
- Current, valid, unrestricted counseling license/certification as an independent practitioner
- Demonstrated counseling competence prior to agreement to perform under the Military contract
- Must pass criminal history, fingerprint, and credential review/verification, and a DoD-initiated Tier 1 Suitability Investigation
