Licensed Military Program Counselor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Military Program Counselor (Tele-work).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide private, confidential, non-medical counseling to eligible participants on topics such as relationships, military transitions, personal stress, life goals, and financial stress
• Utilize a short-term, solution-focused counseling model for non-medical counseling services
• Ensure compliance with Military Program eligibility requirements and do not provide clinical mental health counseling

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; Spanish fluency may be required in certain areas
• Master's degree from an accredited program in a mental health-related field
• Current, valid, unrestricted counseling license/certification from a recognized authority
• Demonstrated counseling competence prior to agreement to perform under the Military contract
• Successful completion of criminal history, fingerprint, and credential review/verification
