Job Summary
Focusing on building relationships through proactive outreach, the hybrid remote Customer Engagement Specialist will assist with loan applications, generate referrals, and support the loan origination process while progressing towards becoming a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with prequalified borrowers and past customers through proactive outreach
- Support pipeline development by engaging prospects and coordinating consultations with Licensed Loan Officers
- Assist borrowers throughout the loan process by answering questions, gathering documentation, and providing status updates
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 1-3+ years of customer service, sales, or contact center experience
- Willingness to pass the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System exam and maintain good credit standing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Encompass or other mortgage loan origination systems preferred
- Ability to learn mortgage products, lending guidelines, and applicable regulations
