Job Summary

To support the loan origination process, the hybrid remote Customer Engagement Specialist will engage with prequalified borrowers and past customers through proactive outreach, assisting with applications and providing updates while progressing towards becoming a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with prequalified borrowers and past customers to generate referrals and new applications
  • Support pipeline development by coordinating consultations with Licensed Loan Officers and conducting consistent follow-up with prospects
  • Assist borrowers throughout the loan process by answering questions, gathering documentation, and providing status updates from pre-approval through closing
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years of customer service, sales, or contact center experience
  • Willingness to pass the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System exam and maintain good credit standing for licensing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with loan origination systems like Encompass is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
