Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator

Job Summary

To support the loan origination process, the hybrid Customer Engagement Specialist will build relationships through outbound calls, emails, and texts, while assisting borrowers with applications and coordinating consultations with Licensed Loan Officers, ultimately paving the way for a Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator role.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prequalified borrowers and past customers to generate referrals and new applications
• Support pipeline development by engaging prospects and coordinating consultations with Licensed Loan Officers
• Assist borrowers throughout the loan process by answering questions, gathering documentation, and providing status updates

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 1-3+ years of customer service, sales, or relationship management experience
• Willingness to pass the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System exam and maintain good credit standing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with Encompass or similar systems preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with customers and colleagues
