Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter to ensure compliance and accuracy in mortgage loan applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite a variety of mortgage loans while ensuring compliance and risk assessment
• Review and analyze documentation to determine loan eligibility and make timely underwriting decisions
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary documentation and provide exceptional customer service

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of mortgage underwriting or lending experience required
• Active DE/CHUMS and LAPP/SAR certification required
• 2+ years of experience with manual underwrites
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Understanding of compliance standards and federal regulations
