Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time Licensed Nurse Practitioner will manage a panel of adult patients with opioid use disorder, providing assessments, treatment continuity, and collaboration with care teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assess and treat a panel of up to 275 adults with opioid use disorder, managing their care from initial treatment through ongoing support
- Diagnose opioid use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions, initiating treatment with buprenorphine-naloxone
- Participate in clinical team meetings and quality improvement initiatives, collaborating with colleagues to enhance patient outcomes
Required qualifications
- Valid license to practice medicine and DEA license in the home state, with eligibility to obtain licenses in multiple states
- At least 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine in relevant medical practice environments
- Experience with telehealth services is preferred
- Strong ability to build effective provider-patient relationships and engage patients in their care plans
- Bilingual English/Spanish and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner certification are highly preferred
