Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician to provide remote, longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, focusing on evidence-based treatment, collaborating with a care team, and participating in after-hours call schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and treatment planning for obesity management while collaborating with Registered Dietitians
• Ensure adherence to clinical documentation and treatment protocols, contributing to quality improvement initiatives
• Assist in the professional development of advanced practice professionals and participate in team-based care initiatives

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification; ABOM diplomate or board certified in Endocrinology
• Licensed to practice in AR, IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, ND, OK, SD, or WI, holding an LOQ with the IMLC
• Experience conducting telemedicine visits with strong interpersonal skills
• Prior experience working collaboratively with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
• Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
