Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual obesity medicine clinic, the fully remote Licensed Obesity Medicine Physician will provide direct patient care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment, collaborate with advanced practice providers, and ensure high-quality patient management with flexible scheduling options of 32 to 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and treatment planning for obesity management
• Review patient charts and conduct visits to maintain quality and continuity of care
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and Registered Dietitians to enhance patient outcomes

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with current Board Certification in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
• Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility for additional licenses
• Minimum of 2 years as an attending physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Medicine, or completion of an accredited Fellowship in Obesity Medicine
• Experience in obesity pharmacotherapy and adherence to evidence-based treatment protocols
• Commitment to providing patient-centered, culturally competent care
