Licensed Online Junior High Math Teacher

Job Summary

To support a vibrant online learning environment, the part-time Licensed Online Junior High Math Teacher will plan and deliver engaging live lessons in JH Math 8, guiding students through key mathematical concepts while utilizing innovative digital tools in a fully remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality live lessons tailored to a diverse group of junior high students
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure strong learning outcomes
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, organizing assignments and assessments for easy access

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at the middle/junior high school level (Grades 6-8)
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics or a related field
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education
• Knowledge of a US middle school/junior high curriculum and age-appropriate teaching approaches
