Job Summary
To inspire and engage students in the wonders of life science, the part-time Licensed Online Life Science Teacher will deliver dynamic, live lessons to junior high students in a fully remote setting, utilizing innovative teaching strategies and technology to foster an interactive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging live lessons in JH Life Science 6 for a diverse group of students
- Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure strong learning outcomes
- Manage the online classroom on Canvas, organizing assignments and assessments for easy access
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at the middle/junior high school level (Grades 6-8)
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Life Science, or a related field
