Licensed Online Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary

To support a flexible work-life balance, the part-time Licensed Online Mental Health Counselor will provide empathetic, evidence-based psychotherapy to clients via a secure video platform, managing their own schedule and caseload as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families through a HIPAA-compliant video platform
• Conduct initial assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor client progress
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the user-friendly EHR system

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice therapy in the state (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LPC, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD)
• Comfortable navigating telehealth software with a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Ability to work independently while adhering to high ethical and professional standards
• Possession or willingness to obtain malpractice insurance
