Licensed Online Mental Health Counselor

Job Summary

Offering flexibility and independence, the part-time Licensed Online Mental Health Counselor will provide empathetic, evidence-based therapy to clients via a secure video platform while managing their own schedule and caseload as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families through a HIPAA-compliant platform
• Conduct initial assessments, create personalized treatment plans, and monitor client progress
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within an electronic health record (EHR) system

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice therapy in the state (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
• Comfortable with telehealth software and have a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Ability to work independently while adhering to ethical and professional standards
• Possess or be willing to obtain professional liability insurance
