Job Summary

Offering flexibility in scheduling, the part-time Online Mental Health Counselor will provide empathetic, evidence-based psychotherapy to clients via a secure video platform while managing their own availability as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality psychotherapy to individuals, couples, or families through a HIPAA-compliant platform
• Conduct initial assessments and establish personalized treatment plans while monitoring client progress
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system

Required qualifications

• Active, unrestricted license to practice therapy in the state (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC)
• Comfortable using telehealth software with a reliable high-speed internet connection
• Ability to work independently while adhering to ethical and professional standards
• Possession of or willingness to obtain professional liability insurance
