Job Summary
Providing on-call telehealth suicide assessments during overnight hours, the part-time Licensed Overnight Clinician will conduct comprehensive risk evaluations for emergency department patients, develop safety plans, and coordinate care with hospital staff in a fully remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Respond to consult notifications within 20 minutes to initiate evaluations
- Conduct suicide risk assessments using the Brief Suicide Safety Assessment (BSSA) and develop safety plans
- Communicate clinical recommendations to emergency department staff and complete documentation in Epic
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a clinical field (Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, etc.)
- Independent state licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent); associate licensure not accepted
- Minimum of 4 years related clinical experience
- Demonstrated competency in suicide risk assessment and crisis intervention
- Strong independent clinical judgment and ability to respond promptly from on-call rest status
