Job Summary

A company is looking for a Licensed Personal Lines Insurance Sales Agent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls/emails from prospective personal lines and affinity partnership customers for all property/casualty lines insurance
  • Write quality risk policies based on underwriting requirements and utilize training and sales techniques to close the sale
  • Answer questions, provide explanations, and make recommendations to applicants regarding appropriate coverage for all personal lines policies
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred
  • State licensing as required for property/casualty products
  • Three or more years of related work experience in sales of property/casualty and life insurance
  • Advanced knowledge of sales techniques, insurance products, and customer service practices
  • Ability to communicate technical insurance information and operate personal computer and related software
